Getting started
Does it work with my theme?
ReachMe works as a theme app embed, which is supported by Online Store 2.0 themes such as Dawn and most themes from the Shopify Theme Store. Your theme code is never edited.
How long does setup take?
About two minutes: install, turn on the app embed, add your number and save. The app's Home page guides you through it.
I changed my theme. Why did the buttons disappear?
App embeds are switched on per theme. Open the theme editor for your new theme and switch on ReachMe under App embeds.
Features
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No. Any WhatsApp number works. WhatsApp Business adds handy extras like quick replies and away messages.
Can different team members get messages?
Yes, on Pro. Add up to 5 team members to the chat popup, each with their own WhatsApp number. Shoppers choose who to message.
Can I show the buttons only on some pages?
Yes, with Pro you choose the pages, such as product pages or the cart. On any plan you can show them on mobile, desktop or both.
Will it slow down my store?
No. The script is under 8 KB and loads after your page. The chat popup's code only loads if you use it.
Which languages are supported?
Button labels and the popup's buttons come in 20+ languages and follow your store's language. Texts you write, such as the welcome message, show as you wrote them.
Privacy
Do you collect my customers' data?
No. The buttons open the phone dialer or WhatsApp. ReachMe doesn't store anything about your shoppers. See the privacy policy.
Where are my settings and photos stored?
In your own Shopify store: settings as app data, and team photos in Content › Files.
Plans and billing
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes the call and WhatsApp buttons and is free forever. See pricing.
How does billing work?
Shopify bills you for ReachMe on your regular Shopify invoice. There's no card to enter in the app.
How do I cancel?
From the Plans page in the app, any time. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and your settings are kept.
